Cathy is reading The Sense of an Ending by Julian Barnes. This novel won the Mann Booker for 2011 although Sarah hadn't heard about it. Likely because Sarah has been living underwater for the past two years. There is a surprise ending, which made us think of Loving Frank -- which may or may not have a very surprising ending which we won't spoil!
Sarah is reading Marcia Willett's The Summer House. It is not Jude Deveraux's book that was made into a movie, but a novel suggested for people who like Joanna Trollope, which Sarah does.
On Cathy's list is the book that proves we are all getting dumb with the Interweb available in our hands...The Shallows, as in our brain is getting shallow.
Further to Sarah living under water, it is revealed that there is a hot show that must be watched...from 2010! It is BBC's Sherlock, and in this inaugral episode of Jizzmachine, Sarah is given the crack known as Cumberbatch.

Except with more burrs, less dreads, more matted fur.
